Cateks

Cateks produces advanced textile materials for medical, military, industry and casual purposes. Some 250 employees weren’t encouraged enough to show their true value as Cateks lacked the ambition to research and develop new materials which could then be sold globally.

The balance sheet looked solid and the existing knowledge and the experience of the employees were evident yet the will to open new frontiers was neglected which eventually always leads to bad endings. Additionally, some of the machinery was out-of-date and was desperate for the upgrade. We took a strategically relevant part of the company and initiated change. The first step was to ensure the satisfaction of the existing clients to make the transition smoother and enable the much needed in-house ‘climate’ change, way of thinking and to restructure the processes.

Now, with the new management and an ambitious investment plan for the upcoming years, we feel it is safe to say that the employees of Cateks are going to find themselves once again in an inspiring environment which embraces new ideas and rewards the talent and then the outcome becomes more obvious. We are looking forward to introductions of new products, new niches that are going to be tackled and eventually the leading position in the field of advanced textile materials.
